Blood Brothers (Play Version)

Overview

This is the non-musical play version of the hugely successful musical (which is currently being performed professionally, and is thus not available for performance).  Newly reissued by Oxford University Press in their Oxford Playscripts series. It tells of twin brothers and what happens when their mother decides to have one of them adopted. Their contrasting upbringing and the hand fate deals them is fast-moving, perceptive and ultimately tragic. This original version is simple to stage, rewarding to act, and is ideal for a large mixed cast.
